Have to keep this going.....

Hello everyone!  I'm back with another post.  As what I have written in my title, I have to keep this going otherwise I will lose the momentum again.

During the retreat, I had an opportunity to teach a scrapbooking class.  I had so much fun with the girls who attended my class.  I was quite nervous at first and it was also my first time to meet some of them - but they were all lovely and very pleasant so I had a great time conducting the class.

Here is the layout.... and I have made a small shaker element on my page.

Title: Aguilars
Materials Used: Paper: Crate Paper Love Notes, Dark Grey Cardstock
Dies: Memory Box Die  and Poppy Stamp Die
Embellishments: AC Thickers, Acetate, Heart Confetti

And here are some photos from the class....

Thanks ladies for joining my class.  I had so much fun!!!

I'm still here!!! And I'm so happy to be back blogging!  I really should do this more often because I miss it so much.  I miss sharing my work here.

2012 has been a busy year for me....so many things had happened - sad and happy.  But I still believe that certain things happen to make us more stronger and to make us appreciate life, people and everything around us even more.  Here are a few things that happened the past year.

  • My mom came here for a visit.  I really enjoyed every minute of it.  I really miss having her.
  • My grandmother passed away... missing her.
  • Harvey started year 2.  Been a busy mom for him which is also very rewarding.
  • My mother-in-law also came for a visit.  We were happy to have her too!
  • Went to Avalon, Melbourne for a Kaisercraft workshop - Fun!!!
  • Went to Melbourne to have a quick vacation with family.
  • Been busy with work and preparing scrapbooking and card classes for Catchy Crafts.
Its 2013, and I'm hoping and praying for another good year - better than the last (hope i'm not asking for too much).  I'm praying for good health for my whole family here and back home in the Philippines.  I'm so excited to be busy with crafting again and blogging about them of course.  I'm so excited for my little boy too who is now going to be in Year 3.  Hope all goes well for everything.

I also would like to share that I'm now also starting my Project life album.  I'm doing these weekly and will be posting them really soon!  Still have to add some more bits and pieces to it.

January 2012.... where did you go?

Oh boy, time really is fast.  Today is the last day of January and I have been wanting to update my blog so many times but every time I attempt, I have another thing to do - so on and so forth.....

January is my birth month - I'm now another year older.  It's kinda scary when you think about it - specially when I saw a couple of white hair that's beginning to show.  But then, I just have to have the proper mind set - and that is, not to feel old - then maybe, it will be ok.  There are a lot of things I just want to be thankful for.  I thank the Lord for my family, good health, for good friends and for allowing my mum to be here with us.
Scrappy-wise, I have been scrapping pages and creating cards.  I have been preparing class samples at Catchy Crafts.  And with new products for CHA coming out, I really need to make a dent on my scrapbooking materials. Here is my first page for January....
